At least the festivals....

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending a wine festival in Milwaukee.  It was in a beautiful location right along the lake.  Grynder had gotten us tickets and we decided to check it out.

We arrived at the festival about 15 minutes after it opened.  Parking was plentiful and even some locations were free if you didn't mind walking a block or three.  There was a line of about 10 people as we walked in.  You got your wrist band, and your plastic wine tasting glass.  You then were given your 10, 1 oz sample tickets, and a free sample of one of three import beers.  There were plenty of cheeses, and a few fruit samples.  The Apple Pears and Kiwi's were my favorites.  You were able to sample some pretty decent wines, but you only really got a smidgeon of taste and with only 10, you had to buy more at $2.50 per 1 oz sample, which is what it came out to if you purchased tickets also.  The designated drivers received 2 complimentary cans of soda for a $10 entrance fee.
